What Is a Marketing Health Score?

Your Marketing Health Score is an aggregate measure of how well your business is positioned to attract, convert, and retain customers through marketing. Marqos AI calculates it across 6 dimensions, each scored from 0–100.

The overall score is a weighted average. No single dimension can mask poor performance in another — a perfect website score won't save a zero GEO score.

The 6 Dimensions

GEO Visibility

How often AI assistants mention your brand when users ask relevant questions. Tested across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Meta AI.

Low score means: AI tools don't know your brand exists. To improve: Create authoritative content, earn mentions on trusted sites, structure your website with clear factual claims.

SEO Foundation

How well your site is optimised for traditional search engines. Covers technical SEO, content quality, backlink profile, and keyword targeting.

Low score means: You're missing organic traffic you could be earning. To improve: Fix technical errors, create topic-cluster content, earn quality backlinks.

Content Strategy

The consistency, quality, and diversity of your content output across channels.

Low score means: Inconsistent publishing, poor content-to-audience alignment, or channel gaps. To improve: Publish consistently, diversify formats, align content to buyer journey stages.

Social Presence

Your brand's visibility and engagement across relevant social platforms.

Low score means: You're not where your audience spends time. To improve: Choose 2–3 platforms where your audience is active and post consistently.

Brand Positioning

How clearly and consistently your brand communicates its unique value proposition.

Low score means: Confused messaging, inconsistent tone, or unclear differentiation. To improve: Define your brand voice, audit all touchpoints, sharpen your one-line value proposition.

Conversion Readiness

How well your website and assets convert visitors into leads or customers.

Low score means: Traffic isn't turning into revenue. To improve: Audit your CTA hierarchy, simplify your lead flow, add social proof.

How Scores Are Calculated

Each dimension is evaluated by combining:

  • Live website crawl — we analyse your actual site content and structure
  • AI engine testing — we run queries across 6 AI platforms
  • Search Console data — organic traffic, impressions, and click-through rates (if connected)
  • Analytics data — user behaviour signals from GA4 (if connected)
  • Claude analysis — our AI synthesises all data into scored assessments with specific reasoning

What Score Should You Target?

Scores from 0–40 indicate critical issues — focus here first as these are blocking your growth. Scores from 41–60 are below average, and consistent improvement will yield significant results. From 61–75 you're competitive and in the game, but there's meaningful upside. Scores from 76–90 are strong — focus on specific weak spots and maintain your strengths. Scores from 91–100 represent market leader positioning — defend and compound.
