We believe in minimal, purposeful cookie usage. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or sell your browsing data.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners.

Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

Cookies We Use

We use a very small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the platform:

Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. Without them you cannot stay logged in. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. These cookies contain only session identifiers — no personal data is stored in the cookie itself.

Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser localStorage to store preferences that improve your experience. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not sent to our servers — it stays entirely on your device.

You can clear localStorage at any time via your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data. This will reset your preferences but will not log you out.

Third-Party Cookies

Some of our third-party service providers may set cookies as part of their service:

Supabase

Sets authentication session cookies. These are essential for login and cannot be opted out of while using the platform. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and hosts data in the EU/US depending on your selected region.

Google (OAuth only)

If you choose to sign in with Google or connect Google Search Console / GA4, Google may set their own cookies. These are only set when you actively use Google authentication. Refer to policies.google.com for Google's cookie policy.

We do not use advertising networks, social media pixel trackers, or any cookie-based analytics. We do not have Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or similar tracking.

Managing Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies:

Browser SettingsMost browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note: blocking all cookies will break authentication and you will not be able to log in.

Our Consent BannerWhen you first visit, we show a consent banner. If you decline, we will not load any non-essential cookies or analytics. You can change your preference at any time by clearing localStorage.

Clearing Site DataIn your browser's developer tools (Application → Storage → Clear site data), you can remove all cookies and localStorage for www.marqosai.com at once.

Analytics

We currently do not use any third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude. Any future addition of analytics will be disclosed in this Cookie Policy with appropriate consent controls.

We may collect aggregated, anonymised usage statistics (such as total report counts or feature adoption rates) directly through our own database — this does not involve cookies and is not linked to individual users.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if we add new functionality or third-party integrations. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
